Cynthia Marcotte Stamer is the President of Cynthia Marcotte Stamer, P.C., a member of Glast, Phillips & Murray P.C. Ms. Stamer works with health industry and other clients to manage risks and promote business objectives.  As part of this practice, Ms. Stamer for more than 20 years has advised health providers, payers, health information technology providers and other health industry clients, employers, employee benefit plans, insurers and financial services companies, associations, schools and other governmental agencies and other businesses about privacy and confidentiality, data security and use, and other risks and opportunities relating to the creation, collection, use, retention, protection and disclosure of sensitive personal and business information.  Her experience encompasses advice about background checks and other investigations, paper and electronic health and financial records, billing and claims payment, electronic health and telemedicine, human resources and patient recordkeeping and administration, marketing and business partner data, trade secrets and other confidential information and other process and records management systems and practices.
